Just notified of layoffs affecting the TP&E organization (under Scott Mair). They did not specify percentages, only that all were in the affected workgroup. "Interest in leaving" survey to be completed between now and 10/11, then "assessments" of the workforce will follow, with surplus employees to be notified by end of Oct.

Same thing happened to the CPADS organization, Software Development and Engineering. AVP calls a last minute meeting, which lasted all of 10 minutes, announcing layoffs.
This at a time when everyone is busier than ever, and AT&T is making money hand over fist.
Just like last year........and it's not looking like it will stop any time soon.
Pivot training, transformation learning, all BS.
Same spiel for employees under the Brickhaus umbrella. Generic corporate speak about surplusing.
