Thread regarding Follett layoffs

My two cents

It looks like admins are removing posts again and my ip was blocked again. It’s pain to go through proxies and this is not cool.

They will block you if you name names (including initials) and they will delete all posts you made (they axed all I wrote since April 2015 when I landed on this site) – also, any kind of ‘bad’ language will get you in trouble. I think (the emphasis is on 'think') that it's ok to discuss c-level floks as they are public figures and there are news articles on them but anyone less than that should be avoided...

They hate external links too so, be careful there too. Final advice, sometimes if you reply to a ‘heated’ post they will block everyone who engages in the back and forth, so stay away from those. also check the rules they have somehwere listed.

Follett can block you but not remove post from this site . This is a place to vent and read if othets are having similar issues . Keep it real and clean and should have no issues .

You do realize that most people have never heard of Follett, right? This site is not a part of Follett. www.thelayoff.com is an independent domain. It lists comments regarding layoffs coming from thousands of companies.

If you're using a company network or a company computer, you're foolish to post here. Yes, IT can see what you do on their network. Even on a mobile device they can track your activity by logon. Use your own computer or mobile device and use a wireless plan or another network and you're good.

Follett couldn't anticipate e-commerce. You can't possibly think it has something to do with this site.

Follett needs internal board like walmart does so that everyone can blow their horns. I am fairly certain, Follett is pushing the hands of the owners and admins of these websites with threats about lawsuits and such.
