Shifty, slimy, creepy, but not illegal. The French were desperate to get the work transferred to them, but it turns out they haven't a clue of what to do.
I hope the people taking the transfer have a very close look at their contracts for sneaky clauses allowing the company to reduce their salaries after an initial period. The numbers may look good on the surface, but get advice, guys.
Engineers and managers are off to Clamart to start the construction of new labs and meet with French team next week. Those who fear to go to France will get a retention bonus for the help with transfer.
