Taking Notice of Our Observations and Concerns

Here is an article about Sears using quotes from posts on this forum. People are taking notice of what we have to say!

'Our DM told us if we brought up any question or concern that was not corporate speak there would be he** to pay. ' I was told the same thing and that was 2 jackass DMs ago. So, it's all the same status quo over and over. Just one dummy after the next. Wonder where the DM dummies end up after Kmart? What company would want them?

'Do the people who gave those glowing reviews of SHC really exist?' That's the first thing I thought. Of course that was some sort of stepford wife thing. There are no glowing reviews because we are in death throes. Maybe shc reached back to 1960 something and found some quote they could post? But, NO it could not pertain to any of our stores today. ... (death spiral) does not lend itself to happy, glowing remarks. This a death bed with a funeral soon.

Do the people who gave those glowing reviews of SHC really exist? Years ago when the Blue Crew program for appliances was rolled out there was an associate interviewed who sang the praises of this innovation. The article stated the store and the associate's name; in fact you could see their name on their lanyard in the accompanying photo. I did a search on the Sears intranet to see if this person was actually an associate at the store identified. No such person was listed. In fact, I could not identify this person as being a Sears associate at all. I believe that the whole interview was a sham and the person interviewed was a model/actor, not an actual appliance associate with that store.

I am sorry guys, I was looking at the article and I am happy the media is paying attention to the employee concerns and taking with a grain of salt, "Howard Reifs BS"

I want to know who the people are that gave a glowing review of SHC. Is their store that much better that 90 percent of the other stores in this company. If they did not use their names would they still give the same review?

Do you really think that the powers that be at Hoffman really care what we think?

If they really cared they would have listened when we had meetings for every region years ago and had a chance to voice our concerns. Our DM told us if we brought up any question or concern that was not corporate speak there would be he** to pay. Also, when some of us took the corporate people aside to voice our concerns and ideas we were told, in no uncertain terms, that is the way it is and we had to deal with it.

Most people at corporate are either trying to keep their jobs and are just going along with whatever comes or they have drank the Kool-aid and are SHC shills who will believe anything that Eddie and his minions put out there.

My concern is why they keep having all these ideas and changes that cost money and time and they don't have the money or the employees to implement them. Get rid of the ideas, the changes, the departments that dont make sense and get back to customer service and giving people what they want.
