Like it's any surprise, yet another round of layoffs is being scheduled for Oct/Nov timeframe. This will be a 'first quarter sweep of all departments'. No word yet, but the wording in the meeting Friday was that 'all nonessential personel' will be leaving, no severance packages as they were already offered earlier this year.
All new major APOL shareholders are displeased with the steadily falling revenue. There was a hint that a bidding process may be used for employees. As I took it, the idea is the employee with the best experience/lowest salary offer will be most likely to remain/be hired.
You need to SPEAK UP if you oppose this as all jobs will be sold down the river for low-bids with what myself and my colleagues believe will be lower and insufficient levels of experience/qualifications. Sounds terrible but that's what they put out. Best of luck to all.
