When I first read this headline I got all giddy inside!
Think between 1600 - 1800 left in bville
how many COP people are left in bville ?
Just watch! Two step transfer of responsibilities. Phillips is actually helping by using vacated office space and making offers to some of those not offered a jobs in Houston.
What are you talking about?!? No they aren't shutting down Bartlesville! This can be confirmed by the fact the WARN notice won't be triggered in Oklahoma.
Seriously, there are folks expecting relocation ... this company is sinking fast with the weight of tenured expectations
Will it be one of those deals where you can accept your position in Houston but move yourself or will the company pony up to relocate? I am pretty sure he company doesn't want to be left holding all those houses in a sinking real estate market
Shutting down the ConocoPhillips operation in Bartlesville will have impact on Bartlesville but Phillips operations will remain to help smooth that over.
I hate to see that happen. It will destroy Bartlesville. If they shut down the majority of the offices in Houston, it would not have the impact like it would at Bartlesville. Sad to see it come down to shutting down the Bartlesville offices.
Not for sure yet. Just working the numbers
