I just wanted to know if anyone could tell me what Schlumberger is paying senior mud engineers in the US Rockies right now. I am a senior PE on LOA right now and am being offered the option to come back to work as a senior field engineer (mud). I'm just wondering how bad the pay cut is going to be.

Forget job boards. Use your personal network to look for opportunities. They are out there, but you have to do some digging.

find a job board you like and look for a job, linked in s---s is a waste of time, keep at it and be patient, recruiters out there realize people want out of this industry, you will have to take a paycut, but you will survive, job isnt going to come to you , you gotta put time into the search
