R&D and manufacture of all XRF instruments will move to China Innovation center and CMC. Only ITAR controlled products will stay in US.

Tewksbury is a beautiful facility and will never close. It is only the under performing BU that leaves. It's the only real facility near corporate that Isn't an embarrassment to corporate execs and has real food service. Too bad for the businesses there because the building overhead is obscene. On the plus side, Mark Casper can pull into the newly paved parking lot without hitting a pothole.
The savings will be fantastic plus the favoritism at that facility was out of control does anyone know how many layoffs will take place Thermo bought that building are they going to sell it great spot for a bowling alley or children's trampoline play center
