Do we return our laptops too ? i know we return our badges.
Since, if we are going to be on payroll for a month more, I thought we get to keep the laptop for 1 month.

I was remote, returned my endpoints, CVO router and laptop. No need to return Amex or ID badge, they no longer work. I was told to shred them. When you ship the stuff back request signature proof.
Used some of mine to buy a nice laptop.
Cisco has hired Amazon drones to pick up and return all company property.
you can keep the laptop during the transition period before you sign the package. you can look for jobs both internally and externally. but after you sign the package you need to return all cisco properties.

I'm sure packages can change from year-to-year but I was allowed to come in to the office for a month to look for a job in Cisco (yeah right) and kept my laptop for several weeks. Cisco was also good about keeping my cell phone going for several weeks while I transitioned the number to my account. They also provided decent out placement services, which were helpful if you haven't written a resume in a while.
Use some of that layoff money and buy a new laptop.
You don't really use company property for personal use, right? Sounds like LR material to me.
