I wonder how many people resign after a layoff.

the plan is to try and retain those that are left standing. Promo cycle will open her shortly and they will bring equity increase cycle into q1 instead of q3

Cisco is a good company all in all - it is just struggling to make the numbers appeal to Wall Street as the market moves away from hardware. We ALL knew this. We ALL participated.

I wish my peers the best - if you're a grade 11 or 12, good luck because yet again we're going to get hit very hard for obvious reasons - we're expensive. And we're expensive because Cisco paid us well. Comes with the territory as the company struggles to establish a new operating model.

The landscape out there is good - don't panic and doubt yourself, just network and spend tomorrow cleaning up your LinkedIn.

Good luck folks.

Three people will resign. It's up to us to make Cisco LR us. It's like a fun game of whack-a-mole. They try to fire us but we keep moving around and go back into hole before we get hit.

I will resign once I will find a new job if I will survive this LR. I am hoping to be LR'd after more than a year with this company. I do not plan to go through another LR - sadly I know I will have to lower my salary as Cisco paid me hendsomly

I don't think resigning would have nearly a good package.
