Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

We can stop LR by better train sales people

We having LR because the field can not sell because they not smart enough or know our new technologies to explain to customer why they buy!

At engineering GSX, we will also need add session on how engineers to better train sales people how to sell. They are not yet smart enough to explain new products- especially software. Systems engineering and the PSS need help too but first they need to stop play Pokemon and emailing us questions to save them. We no longer can scale. That is why cisco growth is like slithering snake.

Engineers can learn current way of sales people and better teach them the technical outcomes of our rich platforms to help make business outcomes come out for customers. We can train them better than GSX- again, better use of OPEX for the company. We are one Cisco and its up to engineer to make sales people better sellers so we can end LRs ASAP. I think the top managers in the c-sweet will like this action plan. If we do good job, we can get connect recognition and raise with RSU.

For such training, we need to set aside OPEX for engineers to take Caltrain to the j buildings where we will hold our in-depth training. We need to keep sales (and the marketing) away from our new remodeled building spaces! Because we now have free snack like turkey jerky and fruits, we do not want sales or marketing to know otherwise they squat in our conference rooms and eat all our food like locus instead of meeting with customers and taking orders.

We need to move fast!

Well, the original post is sound but we Aldo need better engineering talent. I can't wait until we move more to Hungary and Poland .

Less than 10% of sales understand cloud... Hell less than 10% of execs understand cloud. Less than 5% in tax know anything about open stack. The cloud is a big fail at Cisco. After next week you will never hear of inter cloud again. It's dead. So many smart people and too many long term execs with goals that don't know sh--. The politics of these douchebags is killing all internal projects. Please lay me off so I can go to a startup and show you what I was crushed on numerous webexs and eat you lunch

There is no sales in Cisco - we do order taking and lose in (almost) all competative situations.

@cse- the field can barely fill out expense report and fill out spreadsheet. how can they understand test code! They can't so they make stories up on power point to customer and engineers have to cover their bad job selling.

Most engineers writing and testing code are dead weight, we in the sales field have to explain why there are so many bugs, good riddance

Post sounds manufactured with too perfect broken English. If the person is a Cisco engineer, I want to be LRed just to get away from them.
