It has been confirmed that three angry ex-employees have been making sh-- up just to mess with people on here. Sleep well tonight knowing that there will be no layoffs next week.

Deadwood pruning would be great. So far, the LRs focus on those at higher grade levels and 50+. I've seen some of the best LRd. The rest of us have to pick up the slack and/or work with red badges who don't have the same abilities. Working with them is more work than their worth. You get what you pay for, Cisco.
Deadwood mafia is strong at Cisco it's a numbers game for management the more faces the better. Cisco can't compete with lean startups it's not in it's genetics.
There is ABSOLUTELY a layoff next week.... keep telling yourself there isn't.... see how that works out for you.....
Yes... and you're one of them. For the past 3 months managers have been tucked away in "budget" meetings to meet the goal of reducing operating expenses by 10% across the board. Part of that included cutting people. I've said this on numerous posts here... our boss told my team that she's cutting 30% of us. She couldn't give us names, but she gave us a number. This IS happening.
