lol.. It's sad. Maybe the word is liar. It just sounds bad. What keeps me from getting angry is trying to find some compassion. And seeing the execs and CEO as out of touch and disillusioned rather than being an intentional huckster/fraud. People who don't realize the messes and the cultural issues they've caused which affects revenue. These are really expensive missteps that no surplus will ultimately be able to pay for.

So if you thonk liar is harsh what wiuld you call it? It is sad to see a company that was once great now operating by using smoke and mirror tactics. A new member of my team was part of a surplus prior to joing my team but after only being there for 6 months and being told his skills were just what we needed to keep was surplused again for good this time (smh) shame on you at&t

to be fair, "liar" is harsh....its embellishment, deflection...."look over there its a squirrel" type stuff. I don't think any one of the exec leadership including the top dog, goes to bed thinking how they can lie, betray or defraud.

Alot of these initiatives have gotten so far off track and out of hand - its hard to explain (namely to shareholders). I think most in the know are waiting for the "slam dunk" "holy grail" thing thats going to take the company to the next level - software company status. And until then they buy time, spin stuff, latch on to flawed metrics/awards (like JD powers - which in many cases have "targeted sample" of who they interview) and do the slick willie car salesmen thing to the shareholders....how the big change/shift is here and or right around the corner.

The tipical BS, here in Dallas, most managers praised him....One closing word, the red flag list indicating when a CEO might be beyond hope and help. If your own manager is so deceptive you think the term “liar” is appropriate, it might be better to find someone to work for who is more honest, After all, if you work for someone who is dishonest, what does that say about you?

Wow. You'd think that AT&T leads in every facet of NPS. Oh wait, that was DIRECTV. But they are all clearly idiots, right? AT&T knows the right way to customer satisfaction. I cannot roll my eyes enough.

JD Powers is not as telling as Consumer Reports. Don't believe the hype. This was meant to deflect.

Is it true that companies must pay a licensing fee to JD Powers to use their logo and essentially tout the credential JD provides?

Randy is so crafty. Here we are on the cusp of the FCC fine the risk of poor customer perception following cramming from a drug dealing money launderer. And Voila, highest score in facility, web, offerings and promotion.

I swear this man is skillful....too bad its in all the wrong things.

probably the newest way they want to screw directv employees.

As a subscriber to Consumer Reports, their yearly reports on consumer satisfaction on wireless service gives a completely difference of opinion on customer satisfaction than what we hear from the JD Power awards.

Just the fact that they think anyone in this century knows what JD Powers is or cares shows you how clueless T has become with the times.

The only thing I hear is how wonderful AT&T scored on NPS and JD Powers. I wonder how they score. Do they weed out bad scores? Do they bribe JD?

On the FCC fine issue, review this article.

My vote is on the FCC fine issue, he may want to educate the employee base so we have some knowledge to respond to our customers on why this happening, not to mention that this kind of thing is not good PR or media on the company. The CEO's primary objective is to continue to build share holder value, and I believe he owes an explanation on the issue.

The post on "Fines" is probably a good guess. This made local news in my area on refunds to be paid to our customers on over charges (not sure about details).

He's announcing that everyone below the director level owes the company $1,000 so they can pay the fines they just got hit with for cheating customers.

I assume you meant 4:00 for the meeting time. A 30 minute meeting, with only 24 hours notice could well prove to be quite interesting. No rumors as to the purpose are circulating in my area (IT).
