I heard Shared Services in Bartlesville said they could take the Canadian Finance jobs and do the work with 67 people back in 2010. January 2011 the jobs started going down there. There are still 104 people doing Canada PRA and JV Accounting in Bartlesville. I wonder how many people in those groups will be let go?

Hey izgt those are Canadian resources being taken out of the ground so those jobs should have stayed in Canada. However that's not the point, they put those positions in barfsville because they though they were being clever by saving a buck. It was a bad decision made yet again by the Huston office. This company is screwed.
I bet they rathet let go all Canada finance and keep Bartlesville office. (Of course keep those expats. L W, G...)
The guy who said that already retired. They dont remember whatever they promised. Its not about the costs. It's about control and create jobs for America! By the way, they still spend money on developing SAP! 20MM dollars project... it's never about costs.... the ELTs dont care about their employees.... we worth nothing in their eyes!

There's a lot of pretentious finance shmucks in the cesspool of Bartlesville.
And they had no idea what they were doing. It cost more to train and in mistakes than it was worth. Made no sense to put those jobs down there. Stupid decision.
