Don was right. Crucible leadership!!!
Leadership can have any number of training sessions, you can post articles about internal conflict, however the reality is until there are standards set and displayed by behaviors in upper management nothing will trickle down to those that work beneath them.
The truth is there are only a handful of companies who really have this leadership concept down correctly and also displayed in their behaviors, therefore it is motivating to their employees. We're talking companies like Google, Groupon,-our company has nothing in common with these primarily, the leadership in the way that they treated and communicate down to their employees.
I heard that they had a training session where they brought someone in who told them to "manage up"-how is this possible when your manager basically listens to absolutely nothing you have to say, nor are they supported by the managers about them?
