@yci congratulations to you!! I'm glad you took heed, and I'm certain you will not regret it at all as I surely don't! Much success and longevity to you in your new role.
I've been following the advise from several people on this forum recommending looking at IT jobs in any Industry outside of IT products/services, and so far it has proven to be a huge success for me. Visiting this site often has been a real eye-opener to me. Thank you all! I'm close to accepting an IT Director role for an important hotel chain. Both my new title and salary are getting a boost!!
