Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Lost in the shuffle but have a leadership suggestion

Give the President position to Usher or Stratman. Both bleed Follett colors and will work hard to right the ship.

Winters could also be a potential choice.

Credit for what? Spending his entire career at FHEG with his nose up Steve Prybil's a--! When he didn't get Steve's spot, wouldn't you think he would be both embarrassed and have the "balls" to move on? Guess not.

Bob Scholl deserves a lot of credit for surviving Don Germano regime. Follett has history for promoting, and protecting those with the "gift of gab". If you have the ability to bullshit, you have a career in upper management at Follett, regardless of intellect, abilities, skills, and/or productivity.

Two points. Jim's last name is Bauman. Second, if Winters is a clown what the hell is Bob Scholl? What does he do and why is he still employed?

Winters is a Clown, Jim Baulman's old pet. How she still has a job, God only knows...

We need to go to the outside once again for any attempt at real leadership. Follett had some pretty sharp people in the company 10 years ago but couldn't retain those individuals. Some really smart and effective people were under S.D. in marketing years ago, but his huge ego and childish protecting of turf prevented him from offering them up for promotions. T.C. Spent no time on succession planning and therefore didn't identify the next layer for future leadership. So folks, we are paying the price now who lack of vision by previous leaderships.

SS was the same way, noone in CNS was let go, until the last round. Every team will get their fair share of layoffs. GM is a minor part of our business.

CW is not mean when you get to know her. She's a businesswomen who has actually saved many positions in her dept. you see anyone getting layed off in GM? Nope, because Don was actually a bit afraid of her. Yes, she needs a class in how to act to people, and she speaks her mind way too often. But she totally supported and PROTECTED her team

Those guys don't know the meaning of profitability though. Seal the deal at all costs, literally.

Winters? Usher? One only has to look at their records to see that neither is qualified for President. One is a rude crass merchant and the other is nothing more than a used car salesman. Although Allan would be a very positive choice, there's no way he's leaving Teaxas. His wife and family are deeply entrenched there. He's had many opportunities to move to the Home Office declining each one.
