Yes - it's the dumbest thing ever. The Cameron's that have been closed and product shipped over sea, how smart was that? The place that they shipped the items - have absolutely no clue on how to build them. Long ford pointed fingers at one Cameron facility b--ched and moaned until the got the facility closed. Well karma will get the ones that made that decision to move the product over seas. I don't know if it was a was to burn Schlumberger, by closing the Houston based Cameron facilities, or what the main goal was? When something is working and it isn't broken, why change it? This is election year, by closing the Cameron facilities was the dumbest by far.

Vicksburg was actually a part of Offshore Products (Jack-Up Rig Kits) which was purchased by Keppel. If the Plant is closing down, it is because Cameron no longer owns that product line, nor the property.
If you thought schlums cuts were bad, wait to you see what is in store for Cameron.
