All the more reason to move jobs to mainland Europe.

HPE laying off people if they are good or not . just cut cut cut . Feel sorry for the poor workers left behind picking up the tasks that skilled people once did .. well if you pay peanuts what do you get :)
Bullshit. this won't affect HPE.
The UK had their voices heard loud and clear. The EU stands to disintegrate and all countries should stand up for their autonomy.
This is all sh--e. HP would have already shipped the jobs to low cost locations unless there were reasons not to, mainly export control reasons (government, MOD related industry). Douche Bank is currently enjoying their awesome IT being "provided" via Indian locations. Being in the EU didn't save anyone.
Plus if UK currency weakens the UK becomes cheaper to employ staff, and we all know how much HP hate paying it's staff. Have you checked out the employment regs in a lot of other EU countries btw? Much harder to lay staff off - the UK has always been more flexible in this regard, although thankfully not like the US...yet.
Finally, Brexit is the last of your worries. HPE have managed to get rid of plenty of people just fine before this referendum was even being considered. By the time we leave EU proper, HPE will have bare employee presence in the UK anyway.
@htv Trump 2016!
BRexit is the best thing that could have happened to the UK. Countries who want to leave shouldn't be forced to stay. Let Scotland have its independence and remain in the EU.
The link says that Morgan Stanley has denied it.
omg, it's already happening at Morgan Stanley. http://linkis.com/independent.co.uk/lhS6Z
