Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Just wondering... If a store is being closed, what is the timeline for the process?

I had 8 weeks to close my store. You should get a store transitions person to assist, a timeline of what to get done and when, but most of the planning is on you.

What if there is no new company taking over? Just closing. Who packs it all up? Us?

Depends on the closing date. I assume that you mean your store is going to be run by a different leasee like B&N?

Timeline for the process of me out the door to the bar for a gin? About five minutes, with my Amazon gift card at the ready.
