Really public? I think one needs to find investors buy the stock. Then they would have to open their books to the public, I don't either is going to happen.

Do you really think the family would let this go ten more years . And go public , who in thier right mind would invest in Follett ? Pass around what you twoare smoking .
Here we go again! Yes, years ago Follett was putting itself on the selling block. The president back then thought for sure the company would sell, many family members were hoping and it flopped in their faces. The price they looked for was way over anyone's interest in the company. Thinking billions, the company couldn't sell for a few million. Life moved on. Family started to seek other opportunities (real estate and other investments) knowing the company will be broken apart and sold in smaller chunks to hopefully restart its legacy with a new generation of family.
Source in selling: d&b website 2007-2012. Articles on Google (may need to view archives to read about Follett seeking public auction)
Stop with this stupid rumor. No one wants to buy a dying business. Follett is still strong even though the field is hurting. This company will close in the next decade but we are around until then.
Troll post
This is such a bullshit posting. I too see a demise coming but to continue using the same old shot topic to scare everyone is just dumb. Go back to working your useless job
If anything, they'll go public.
Oh really, heard this before. Any back up tp this story?
