Shammo is definitely Barney Rubble. He's short, squat and mumbles. Although cartoon Barney did not have a foul mouth.

I kind of find it funny too....shamo is not thin.
Barney Rubble had blonde hair and was chubby. Fran has black hair and is thin. No comparison. Just another example of how stupid the dumbass Union is.
