Fake Bereavement

How can I make this work? I am so tired and need a few days off and I've heard people say fake bereavement works well.

What do you recommend? Do I need to go ahead and call EAP and get counseling help? And who should I kill off?

Make sure you document who you talk to and what you tell EAP. They're not on your side.

Go to a doctor immediately. The company does not care about your well-being. You need to take care of you first. People react to different situations differently but forced overtime and forced days worked, over this extended period of time, away from your home environment family is a complete abuse of power. But bottom-line. Do what is best for you and call EAP and take the necessary steps to take care of yourself because no one else will.

Don't fake bereavement. Managers will verify death and may even show up at the funeral or wake services. My best advice is to go to a psychiatrist is you are stressed. If you are opposed to medicine that's fine they can refer you to counselor. Best of luck to you.

Dont fake a death of a family member - eventually the truth always comes out....if you need time off call EAP see a therapist/psychologist etc and go talk to HR for mental health/stress - honesty is the best policy always
