Either way, knowing is good. It doesn't matter as much what the news is, as long as the other shoe finally drops... It's been 30+ days.
I would think the 1 on 1 calls might be an indication of surplus. I won't say bad, because it's all about perspective.

They are starting the calls to ARSMs first then to AE/NDAE.
We just had our market call in mobility sales in our market. All that was said is your current DOS will call everyone today and let them know their fate. No explanation of what the new structure will look like. The new structure will take affect June 1st. The DOS's had a call this morning before the market call explaining the new structure.
It's happening today for managers. No idea how sales works. it won't be via conference call to give people notice.

Are you all expected to be laid off, did you put the survey in? Wondering if the conference all is to inform all people staying and individuals are for people being laid off.
I definitely was informed by my boss last week to expect a call today from the DOS. Maybe some are being organized others aren't. Who knows.
We don't have one here either. I think everyone is just assuming it'll be today.
