I am perplexed? Is AT&T in cahoots with major medial outlets? There is no coverage at all, try searching for news, there is not a single article covering this round of cuts even though they seem to be fairly large and affect many folks and locations. Or, are we so dull to layoffs now, that nobody even cares any more?

Verizon had a ton more action and there was no coverage. I heard of ATT at least. Get out while you can!
I guess I don't understand why people think they want to keep this quiet - the market loves it when companies lay off people. This is all about "sharehold value" I'd think they would want investors to know about big cuts, customers don't care one way or the other.
Advertising $ that is why
It's all under WARN requirements, and no one will talk on the record.
the ABC article is ancient. seriously nothing in the news?!
Same with Verizon strike. Crickets.... I suppose the almighty advertising dollar wins out.
That is an old (very old?) article. For some reason it doesn't have a date on it, but it's been there for months.
ABC news has reported 4600 manager to be laid off. Google it.
It's a dirty little secret. We all take our severances and move on. Att spins the spin with slick Randy at the helm.
@Hx7XK3x Sorry Buddy - you are stuck with thelayoff.com - no other options for now
Because no one will talk on the record. No employees will give the press documentation, and AT&T will just refer to a PR company.
