I found out that area managers will be on a call with hr Tuesday. I'm assuming they will be coached on how to call their employees and let them know they are being cut so I'm assuming we will find out the next day.

LSO course is already out there to take. the HR calls started today for questions on the training in some orgs. It's basic stuff, be empathetic, don't make promises, etc. Managers who will be notifying employees will receive an email Sunday of who to contact.
I went through the layoff and my last day was September 29. My director actually called me. My area manager didn't know. I was offered a drop and compete offer but it was in Bedminster, NJ and I declined it. AT&T was paying the move and provided a move package. AT&The was upset i didnt tAje the drop and compete offer. I'm glad I didnt take it. I found a much better job. For those impacted by this downsizing get you are in my prayers.
We were all supposed to know by Monday the 23rd. Arsm's here in all channels already got the call individually with HR if they are being let go. Not sure if the ones who are staying got an official call or how they were notified.
