After 23 years i was let go 5-20-16. Those who are left good luck. Don't know how many were let go but I believe it was quite a few
To JoJo, why would they keep the older more experienced workers on, when that means paying for pensions and retirement?
To the universe, I wonder if any of the higher paid management or GEOS offered to take lower salaries or turned down perks?

They surely don't want current people talking to the newly laid off. By Monday, each dept. Will surely know whose missing. This is more painful than the financial loss, most people spend more time at work than their own families, know each persons family and personal lives become friends and team mates. I know and have prayed for many of the people my spouse works with.
With out this kind of environment , production goes down as does morale, costs go up.
People will fight more knowing that the backstabbers and never do wells are still there, while quality people and fence menders are easily discarded. No trust there.

thank god layoffs are here, now i will have time to visit my vietnamese ladies that their husbands work so hard for dump-quip at nightshift, yea hoe!!
They need to leave the old people alone and lay off the young one, they can work at the mcdonald

here we go again!!, why layoff people that do the work, kick out the ones that spend their time with their feet on top of the desk and get pay a lot more than the ones that do the job, why pay supervisors when koko the gorilla can do the job!!!, look you are a herd of cowards lead by the enemy, and you all heading to a cliff, that's why they are opening a 24 hrs emergency clinic across the street to treat your pain after your fall from the cliff.
