If this isn't settled soon, I'm sure some of us are prepared to take a paycut and get another job...it's really no big deal, I don't know about others, but I can live on 20 bucks an hour with decent benefits. I can do that because I have no debt.
Let be realistic here. Company will concede on worker movements. Union will.concede on the 30 yr pension cap. Just my humble opinion. We will be back to work soon. Both sides give a little. In the end no one "wins" its just an agreement between the sides. In the meantime, Im going to finish my book and relax and get ready for the mandatory 12s when we get back
That's 40 and going up soon!
Company will make better offer @2:00 , Union and company will bargain and compromise .Sign by the end of the month.
If a asteroid destroyed earth, I guess you would be right. That sounds dumb right, just like your post.
Top rated is more then 35 hour.
You don't make more than $35 now...and if this falls apart you never will again.
2:00 and new contract will be signed by 2:05. Union will accept VZ "last best final offer".
With a pension coming in every month, you don't need 35 an hour. Oh by the way, I make more than 35.
Civil Service... guaranteed pension too!
