First Quarter 2016 Results

Does anybody know how Sears Holdings did for the first quarter 2016? The results must be terrible, especially since it seems like a lot of the merchandise sold was at-cost clearance from winter. They will have to report soon.

Sears actually moved the date back up. They will release results (you can't say earnings) on Thursday May 26.

So sad that a once great retailer has come to this. What really get me is that whoever is in charge does not seem to care about the employees. We just had an employee who had been with the company for over 20 years commit suicide because of what is going on. they lost hope of a retirement or future job. Hope everyone in HE who only cares about the bottom line and not human live, that this haunths them for the rest of their lives. Time to realize that business is not just about profits or ego but about human lives. hope everyone who is just in it for the money loses everything that matters to them in this life or the next.

It is estimated on financial sites to be June 9. The fact that it is pushed back instead of the 3rd week in May means it must really be disastrous.

JC Penney is reentering the appliance business with a nationwide roll-out. Considering appliances is one of the few categories thay logs sales, I would say that is the final nail in the coffin.

nobody knows anything anymore but TERRIBLE is an accurate guess. This seems like an old Twilight Zone show when we are not in the same dimension anymore.
