Obviously one side will win. Not sure if it's the union or company yet but we will be back regardless. At this point if impasse is approved by nlrb, which is highly doubtful considering Obama controls it, we would force us to come back to the final, last, offer. If the membership finally says that it's had enough then it will be mediation or that last offer. But, if the cards fall right for the union then we will get what we need. I'm union and don't particularly care for the strike but I do realize that at this point it is necessary for the future of many people's jobs. As far as I'm concerned, we voted to authorize this strike and now we have to let it play out.
Im not going to brag how much Im making but I can tell you that unless CWA gives in you are not coming back.
The tricks on you ewa people here gloating about the $ you make. Most us uneducated, ignorant, rude, obnoxious, knucke dragging, worthless, lazy union members see those awesome checks of yours on the regular. Your wishes of bankruptcy, sickness and depression are just wet dreams. I and many of my co-workers are set for the long haul. Some here are not but there is help in the form of the public safety net for them. Insurance is cheap because it is based off future earnings. Both children insured for $24 a month. The wife and I for $90. Food stamps are available, even though I haven't applied because I don't need to, but it is there for those who do. Strike fund, unemployment added to the mix also. I am actually getting MUCH more free time with my family and loving it. So just go make your money and shut up already. You guys sound like someone who never had a good paying job to begin with. Welcome to my world. And btw, we will be back someday. Not sure when but it will happen regardless.

swt of course you do. With out threats and intimidation the union would have no power at all. To the OP, about the same here but I work the night shift so I get that pay and have less work to do!!
