I can last the extra time. Hopefully I will get a RIF at the end of the year and start a new career after 39 years with Vz. Have a side business my son is handling for me and time lines up for when he starts his job after college and my return home. Wife has vacation planned for late September and we will go to Europe for several weeks. The worst part of this is her driving the 2 hours each way twice a week to come and visit. She handles as many calls as she can from here, but still needs to get back and help with the business while I'm gone. Without this extra money we would not have booked such an extravagent trip, really have to thank the CWA and IBEW leadership. I feel sorry for the union members, they are the ones getting hurt by the short sighted union leadership who are getting paid and ranking up so called bisuness meals. They should have stayed working without a contract, the members would still be making money while the "no talk" talks continued.
