EWA'S DOING AN ASTONISHING GREAT JOB! WORK LOAD DOWN TO NILL AND ALL INSTALLATIONS IN CUE COMPLETED! AS OF 5/8/16

This is more than we could have even imagined, There is literally not one job in the pool tonight as of 6;18 pm. The company has to thank each, and every EWA staff member for this herculean feat. I always knew we could do this.

There will be an E-mail coming out this week, letting all EWA staff know that there will be an end to your assignment as we hire and train new employees. They should know this will take some time, and we are still shooting for and August date.

The hiring and training of an entire workforce is large task and our number one goal, and we need all of you on board and motivated to help us achieve our objective.

Once again, Keep Up The Great Work!

Lol, call and order service in the DC area and after your 45 minute hold time you will be told 4-6 weeks for FiOS install. Comcast can install in 3-5 days.

I heard that Verizon was looking to replace most 1st and 2nd level EWA assigned people with Cushman Wakefield and Jones Lang LaSalle contractors once this is over. I already see a bunch of these people in place that weren't there pre-strike. Been told they are here to fill in then replace EWA workers, once this is over. Has anyone else heard this ?

"Please get our EWA's more livable arrangements."

I fully agree. It seems - judging by OP - that some of them are going out of their minds and hallucinating...

Please get our EWA's more livable arrangements. Get them out of those hotels, and into leased Apartments. We can't expect them to stay in hotels while we hire and train new work force.

Load down to nil? Took two seconds to find this...http://www.twcnews.com/nys/buffalo/news/2016/05/8/verizon-strike-biz-issue.html

If small podunk towns are being not being serviced NYC must be a train wreck.

EWAs gone but work still getting done at BR. Easy to make graphs and spreadsheets. Interns covering those BS tasks. I'm sure that will be considered during next November's Rif Fest. Save your overtime.

Yes thank you EWA staff for being the best workforce Vz has ever had! I can't believe that after only 25 days that you have cleared every trouble in the Vz footprint. I also heard that installs are now being completed on the day an order was placed! Holy sh--, I can't believe the union guys are even needed anymore. At this rate jobs will be completed before they are even called in. Great job guys. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Just truly amazing what a bunch of dedicated company men and women can accomplish once those GREEDY union people are out of the way... Now please come back to work, please? These posts are just over the top. This site sucks!

@ktr Great Idea to get them out of those hotels, and into something more permanent. I'm sure they can get apartment leases cheaper than hotels, and more livable. Also it would be a great morale boost to come back to a home rather than a hotel room. They have definitely earned it.

The strike accelerates copper landline loss.

Thats what the company really wants and tge union is helping them

I thought fios was 80 percent of landline revenue anyway but vz talks about like landlines stuck in past

Maybe I would believe that if you worked in a town with limited customers but if your trying to say that nyc has no troubles then you are just full of sh--. It's impossible to believe. And I bet you have your wife and kids at the hotel with you, going out for a nice filet mignon dinner and a Broadway play after that. What a douche bag.

This should motivate the Union members, that the EWA staff have been telling all along " that they don't want to be here."

Hmmmmm.
