We were already briefed, EWA till October, all union folks will be replaced and trained by then. Then all EWA will be BAU.

oxz - the BR people don't feel the pain and won't feel the pain. Their goal is to break the union so unless the union comes back to them what you are seeing today is going to continue on until they have enough contractors and replacement workers to replace all 40,000 union workers.
So it's basically a Cold War, and the company has deep pockets and EWA workers to keep things running. The execs in BR are moving onto other things.
You must not be employed by Verizon. If you were employed you would have know the answer to that question.
BR folks, do not care.
They do not feel the pain, they would be just as happy, to get rid of all the union folks (hope they do not).
The union members are going to start feeling the pain, much sooner.
Wait it out. The Basking Ridge clowns need to feel much more pain because they've awakened the sleeping giant. We've been waiting a long time for this fight.
