Someone sounds clueless. Least revenue part of the business, because Verizon uses wireline to fudge the books on the losses from other other parts of the business. Wireline is being used as the corporate execs personal piggy bank and is being used to fund corporate operating costs...Least profitable my ass..wireline is more important to these scoundrels than you will ever realize. Also, those magical cell towers don't work without a wireline backbone.

Walmart would be in a world of hurt if all those workers striked.

It's not like Verizon where the only unionized workers are in the least revenue-producing part of the business and don't really affect the bottom line one way or the other.
