@Hc2AX0t-1fkf Jesus Christ, how stupid can you be? You're getting money from the government and whine about people on government assistance. Look in the mirror you fat piece of sh--!

So you are saying that working for U of P for the last 7 years should not be on my resume.
The vote was not coming out the way Greg wanted it, so, they extended to 5/6 and apollo global management put an extra 50 cents a share in the kittie to get the shareholders to bite.
Ha, this line kills me :). "Your family's welfare doesn't get to come at the expense of other families."
Um, apparently that's exactly why I work, so my hard earned salary (no longer at UoP) can be taxed to support you lazy f---s on assistance. Quit acting like this University or company is the only one out there to make a buck of unsuspecting people. Its called Corporate America. I'm sure the job you are supposedly at now is doing the same thing, only now you make much less than you used to at UoP.
Agree 100%! Snake oil is putting it lightly, try venom. The school is so tainted that no one wants to have anything to do with it. It is an instant resume killer. Good luck getting past Bullhorn, Greenhouse or any other screening software. Most of the major screening software packages include a box to exclude these resumes from the get go. You will never get past the gatekeeper with any mention of this crap on your resume. You might as well say you have been traveling or doing nothing for whatever time you have worked at this company or were supposedly earning a degree. Do not list them if you actually want a job.
Going back to the OPs original question......I believe voting was extended through this week.
The real leeches are the employees of UOP, whose livelihood is dependent upon the successful hoodwinking of thousands of students using government funds to earn fraudulent degrees. If you work for UOP in any role, you are a piece of sh-- and no better than a drug dealer or armed robber who justifies his "career" by saying "I'm just taking care of my family." Your family's welfare doesn't get to come at the expense of other families. You know well enough by now that the product your company sells is snake oil, and there is no honor in what you do.
I agree with you. I would say that 90% of our new students are not sincere about their education. They are simply looking for their excess funds so they can continue to leech of the government. Others are looking for their excess funds and also looking to get previous loans into deferment.
As far as I know, the deal is not dead. Merger or not, it's likely not good for UoPX students or workers. The University of Phoenix brand has slowly become a stigma. What I don't understand is why so few people resisted, especially alumni. I suppose few people are willing to criticize an organization that granted their credentials.
Even if it did go through, cuts will continue until they just go out of business. No one with any sense is going to attend here. Look at the current enrollment numbers. They are a total disgrace and will only get worse.
