As predicted by the union letter posted on Joe Shmuks awhile ago, it looks like the strike will be EPIC. My brother has worked strike duty (management filling in for union) for both AT&T & Verizon and said he had never seen a "Last Best Offer" -- the Counter Proposal -- then Rejected Counter Proposal. It happened near where I live and teach in MN to the American Crystal Sugar union who were locked out for almost 2 years. There the company made a "Final" offer, the union rejected leading to the lockout. However at Crystal we're only talking a few hundred workers not tens of thousands. One curious thing, there hasn't been a lot of press about this dispute, probably due to the election cycle and Prince's death. I wouldn't have paid attention if my brother wasn't involved.

Epic fail?
Your going to be disappointed .
Whatever it takes to take away the union millstone from around Verizon's neck. I'm ready to do whatever it takes.
No press because nobody outside of Verizon really gives a sh--, nor should they. The "average American worker" that the Union claims to be fighting so hard for has nothing like the package that the company is offering and the Union has flipped the bird at.
............ the press can't follow, moving to fast
