It's kind of how I feel about some teachers union and the one that I'm particularly thinking about is the Chicago Teacher's union, who hold the city ransom knowing that Obama has to win his home state and city and it looks bad when it's in chaos so there's pressure all the way from the top to give them what they want and get them back to work because nothing pisses an entire city off than not being able to send their kids to school for a week or two. And let me say as I've said before, I doubt that the Chicago teachers are the best in the world. They were raging at pension contributions. Police and Fire contribute about 12% and get 60% back after 30 years.
Teachers were putting in 2-3% and would get back 80-90%, that's a pay as you go system not a savings system and then they just expect them to raise taxes in 20 years to cover it. I'm not against teachers and I love them but if you say one thing about the teacher's union people look at you like you're against education, you want dumb kids, and you hate teachers.
