Yes. I am afraid if the mediation doesn't work then will be the impasse. Doesn't look so good for Union.
Looks like Vz really has hit the last, best and final offer after almost a year of negotiations. This needs to go to mediation to work out a mutual compromise or a lot of jobs are going to be replaced. That will be a hit to the Company but financial devastation to many individual families. It takes years to recover from even a short strike when 100% of income each week is completely gone. This entire situation is a shame.
