I received a Follett Values award. Should I put it on my resume?

Think back to how you felt when awarded and you will find the answer.

I have several awards, recommendations, president nominations, CFO nominations, and was a Follett in Action award recipient for and nomination for several years. It means nothing to them. Other companies hear this and scuff at how Follett has been treating their best and brightest by eliminating them for dumb and dumber.

Yes, there are many others who have been awarded yearly and even prior to the Follett values who were looking to retire there to be cut short (or bought out). A few of them were let go because SS didn't like them as they were too smart and business savvy for his liking.

So yes, put it on the resume. Or at least make a note or if asked, bring it up during an interview.

What are Follett values these days? Seems like an oxymoron.

Yes, it will come in handy for interviews & Tell Me About a Time questions.

It will be treated with more respect by another employer. Follett gives no sh--e about their values.

Sure, why not... after it's just as real and valuable as the $7 dollar bill. ;)
