A big meeting called for FTF on August 9. Will this be before or after the layoffs?

To the FTF who posted about an interview-- go for it! Just be prepared to defend your employment as our reputation has fallen very far. My mentor advised me to start adjuncting at another school (to show recent face to face experience and affiliate with them on a publication or two), or to take a year and do something new to put distance between my time at UofP on my CV.
If you have a floating holiday or sick leave or vacation you might as well take it as soon as possible....just saying....
I'd sure like to know what's going on with FTFS. I have an interview this week and I don't want to take it if offered if we are still going to have our jobs.
