Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Does each Local make up their owns rules for ratification?

Final Act for screwing the Membership over ......

Some Locals allow voting at the Hall, by mail, by proxy or at ratification meeting (where the contract is explain then you must quickly vote).

Where is an independent auditor? Where is the NLRB overseeing the ratification vote?

Where is the CWA's fearless Leader's letter to the Membership explaining WHY you should votes YES? There is no letter because the CWA SOLD OUT its Members! If you want to see a letter, just review his 2012 letter. Nothing has changed except the date! What a scandal!

Its obvious after what just took place with this latest closed door contract agreement, that locals have no say in anything important. afterall, they are just HS graduate executives. Who really takes them seriously? I love watching them take selfies with politicians, as if, these politicians take them serious, lol, they (politicans) must think, this guy was just installing a phone jack last month, now hes wearing a tie and acting as if he to is running for office? Crazy world we live in!.....The problem is, these HS executives should be working close to their sisters and brothers at the garages and in centers...Instead, they become "self important" and focus more on politics or finding new companies to recruit from for dues, then taking care of their unuion bruthers and sisters....imo....Most are dinosaurs, they have had soooo good for soooo long, they will never leave the hall.......Workers should DEMAND 4 year term limits on them...send them back to their tools or retire already!
