Thread regarding Follett layoffs

Well....

Lets put this into perspective pre Westbrook move the company was still ok/good... post Westbrook move... every dimension of values, decency, honor, good businees, respectable employees, happy customers and large profits sunk faster than theTitanic!

Most of the family has retired. Only a very few are left and they are not in position to get things on the right track. They hear the iceberg tearing the sides of the ship, only to hope they can get a message out to revive things and the ship doesn't get fully engulfed with water to sink. Hopefully they can salvage the ship

That is a valid, yet myopic perspective. For some of us the values that made this company good were tossed away 3 years ago. That is when they began targeting long tenured employees for abuse and firing. That was a sign. When they fired 600 employees in the name of improving customer service, that was the ice berg. It's been more of the same ever since. It will continue to be more of the same until the family sells the ruins of their once great company.
