Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

The metrics a setup so you will fail.

I worked for HP over 10 years and the last 3 made it the absolutely the worst job I ever had in my life. The metrics a setup so you will fail.

It use to be can company that cares about it customers and it employees but those days are long gone.

The employees are cost not assets now. Only thing important is the stock prices and the metrics.

How far they have fallen

I was laid off in November 2015 after 27.5 years. It was the best thing to happen to me. My new job is wonderful. We are treated like human beings.

Insane product release schedules and insane inclusion schedules that literally work engineers to the grave, because the HPE management could only focus on pushing out a joke of a product as fast as they could in a poor attempt to catch up with the competition that was already light years ahead of them. Quantity definitely was [and still is] more important than quality, and EVERYTHING is more important than engineers.

I work closely with customers and they're getting annoyed by the service we offer.

How could we offer the best service when they call and they get an indian robot.
