About 10 guys from SF. Acquisition from 2 years ago. Much touted technology for a while. Guess it didn't work out.

That sucks. At least you are in SF where there are plenty of jobs. Here in South Florida, the job market is nothing but scraps. Good luck!
True, they laid off the team. To be fair to Citrix, was mostly about cost reduction tho. We were the last team in SF office (GetGo team is spinning off) and the SF lease was up. They don't want a SF office. Technology was transitioned to another team over the last 8 weeks. Technology is still supposed to be core and a long term feature, but who knows, I guess. Didn't work out with the team in SF, and we wouldn't move to Santa Clara. Most of us didn't have cars and the 2 hour commute wasn't worth it. Once they laid off the rest of the SF (design team, podio, etc), the writing was on the wall for the Framehawk team.
