If you know a category 5 hurricane is headed to your area, the smart thing to do is pack up and leave.
If you see the signs of war and political oppression in the nation in which you live, the wise thing to do is pack up your family and make a bold move to more peaceful lands (just read historical accounts of people who escaped persecution by seeing what others around them were in denial of and leaving---from all major wars, such as French revolution, American civil war, Bolshevic revolution, WWII, etc)
In other words, when you know the business you work for is going under, find another place of employment as soon as possible.
Wise people have the courage to see the unpleasant truths others don't and the boldness and resourcefulness to remove themselves from the danger before it's too late.
