STFU already, we got what we picketed for essentially. Although in a perfect world, a 40% increase over the duration of the contract would be nice, nobody expected more than 2% or 3% each year.

It isn't a total win. Raise of $2000 after taxes this year (approx). Health care increase of $360 for the year for premiums, a family deductible of $1300, if a family of 3 each has 1 doctor visit $60. Plus drug costs are $10, $30, and $50 per month depending on level. So 2 generic prescriptions will cost $240 per year. All said if you don't use your insurance but the bare minimum, you will get a $10/week raise. That is not a cost of living win!!!
It's a total win wireline is dyeing and we still get big win. $240 month raise $120 month increases for Heath care big whoop great job good contract.
QARS are going away but subjected to be replace by something else.
the link for detailed summary of tentative agreement:
"9. QARs/Workplace Stress The company agreed to terminate a performance supervisory program (known as QARS) in effect in the five boroughs of New York City that workers found extremely abusive, and both parties will work with an outside consultant to develop a non-punitive program. This was a major issue for NYC based technicians."

@KQR Your an idiot then......if you get all your info here....you are a moron.....go look for it now...I'm not talking to stupid.
read it where? all the cut and pastes only mention raise progressions, contract length. non-closing of call centers, token hiring of a handful of new employees and a return to work date. That's it.
No details on medical increases and QARs
OP, you shouldn't get drunk so early in the morning.
WRONG! QARS GONE........READ IT!
I'm Happy, It's not even close to the Last, Best, and Final Offer the company threaten to shove down our throats while moving on without us. LBFO Videos were entertaining though to say the least.
GO CWA/IBEW !
meh, QAR & suspensions here to stay
any gains offset by loss of hours worked

Really? We fought back every major proposal the company was demanding. The actual reasons that we went on strike for. You should have always realized we would pay more for medical. And btw our premiums will go up by $30 per month yet we get a raise of $60 per week. I guess some people are never satisfied. Unless of course you are a troll.
How is it a complete win? Our raises (which weren't even cost of living level) will cover the whole increases in medical. Sure pensions aren't capped, etc, but a net raise of zero isn't a HUGE WIN. Also they changed the drug plan? That was terrible when my wife's company did it. We lost coverage for most of our prescriptions, thank goodness we had two insurance. What about families with only this insurance?
