Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Have to Admit....BIG WIN For The Union.

The money, the time, and the planning that went into to this has to be accountable. Anyone with half a brain could see that 40,000 Unionized workers were not just going to disappear.

PR nightmare since April 13th: You forgot to mention McAdam backtracking on the Yahoo! deal last week and getting called out by the T-Mobile CEO last month.

Maybe I am a pessimist but I don't think the company got crushed on this.. You spend millions of dollars just to cave. The company got something big. Ya know the saying if it seems too good to be true...it probably is. Just have an uneasy feeling like we are missing something.. But for now it looks like we won

I have to imagine that heads are going to roll at VZ headquarters. The company got crushed on this agreement. And after spending all that money on "replacement" workers who accomplished nothing, suffering the huge public relations disasters (Lowell's linkedin letter, the George Polling fiasco, the healthcare benefits cutoff disaster), and cutting profits with this stupid 6 week moratorium on new orders....
