So this is all the company got out of this contract? Something bigger here that everyone is missing without a doubt...Doesn't make any sense that's all they got when they put so much money into training and hiring temp employees.

McAdams and the schmucks around him are inept. Just another bad business decision. An extremely costly one at that. Lowell should be kicked out the door. It can go apply for a job at Twitter.
I did hear a lot complain about the RIFS. Guess we're in for a bit of complaining.
Never heard anyone complain about getting an EISP, I won't be complaining either.
By increasing Union member's contribution to healthcare a little, the way is clear to increase mgmnt contribution to healthcare a lot.
Nobody can afford us. Frontier will never be able to afford us. The reason they gave in to the union is because they had to. They underestimated the effect that a strike would have and we're eating crow. They got almost none of their demands met in this contract and it's for a reason, they f---ed up. Please just accept the fact that the union labor is needed. It's that simple. The increases in healthcare are way less than our raise gives us. I will make an extra $60 a week and my premiums only go up $30 a month. The company should have had the foresight of recognizing what a strike would do to them and gave us this contract before we walked. It could have been over before it started. Hopefully some heads up top roll after this colossal f--- up!
yes, my thoughts exactly jmu.... they are wanting to exit(sell) the wireline side and be rid of it. the current mgt is not interested in the old school telephone type growth or revenue. they don't see growth on wireline side and in 3 years they hope to unload it to frontier or any company that will buy it.
I guess from the looks of it we can expect the company to be offering an EISP to get everyone off the payroll. Surprised the union permitted that.
I just figured they said screw it and plan on selling off wireline. Let someone else deal with the union.
