Gotta admit this site had some pretty hysterical things written on here.. Also there were some rude/crude things written on here... But I think the majority wish everyone well and are looking forward to getting things back to "normal".. I know there will be some who disagree but in the end we are all just trying to keep our head above water and provide for our families until we either find a new job or retire... It was fun while it lasted... Good luck to all!

threats by an a$$hole manager you would be thrown out of my garage in less than a month when we make sure your numbers are the worst in the area riff riff riff riff
Every manager i've had in verizon knows during strike time nothing that happens during that time is taken personal
And we will do our best to get your assfired.
Life will change for EWA'S, I don't care a bit what they want, think or get for a bonus. I will do my job as I wish from now on, threats from managment will be escalated immediately.
"I'm seriously expecting half the crew quit by the end of the year."
LOL. That type of attitude is what gets people fired - not RIF'd - within several months in any shop that is worth its salt.
You're right itx I am an a-hole. And starting on Wednesday you're going to find out just how big an a-hole I can be. I'm seriously expecting half the crew quit by the end of the year.
(Guys and ladies, that should have said). Have a good holiday everyone.
I have always respected my coworkers but after seven weeks as a tech, I have even more respect for the guys who do this full-time. Hope you got a fair contract and everyone can live together happily for the next four years at least and hopefully longer. I don't wish anyone ill and frankly I think anyone who hates their company or their co-workers should find someplace else to work, just my opinion though.
Your a maneger with a chip on his or her shoulder .If you were in a union you would fight to keep your bennys also, but your just a miserable person inside that has to prove that you are of a higher authority. .or so you think..your an a-hole
I have to beg higher ups to approve OT for my guys. But I sure as hell don't have to ask or offer any. And I sure as hell won't be, not this year.
Ladies, have a snickers bar.
You have no control over "your guys" ot. That is dictated by people above your pay grade. We feel the same way about you guys, let's see who wins.
Kidding me? You want to slash tires, get drunk at the bar and come over and have to be forced away by the local PD for acting like a fool, then you want to come back and act like nothing ever happend? I look forward to making my guys life hell for 45 equal days. Think your gonna recover that OT your crazy.
