I have no idea how many wireless people were Unionized but I don't doubt for one moment the company wireless stores are on their way out. If VZ continues as they have with the wireless side then the future wireless stores will be %95 franchise, Target, etc.
I will guess that a part of the contract has some enhanced RIF packages in it for when these things happen. At least going out the door would get you more money in the future than it did in the past.
